This strain has fast become one of the most popular and well-known amongst recreational smokers. It is a newer strain, appearing first in the mid-1990s as an Indica-Sativa hybrid meant almost exclusively for indoor and hydroponic cultivation. It produces an average number of buds, but is so heavy with THC that it’s hard to quantify the differences.
White Widow flowers for about 8 or 9 weeks, grows to a short height of only 60-80 centimeters, and has a very powerful, energetic, and long-lasting buzz. This is also one of the most expensive marijuana options. It is not often prescribed specifically, though it may be prescribed for some needs wherein the physician believes that a stronger relief is required. Compared to some other, deeper highs, however, it is not a potent painkiller or relaxer, despite it’s heavy THC levels. It is most often given for cachexia, Hepatitis C, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The oldest favorite strain I have on here, white widow is a classic and very resinous. This has been described to me on multiple occasions as “one-hit” stuff, and I have to say it lived up to it’s name. After one hit, I was stoned, after a whole joint I was floating around having an out of body experience. It can be too intense for certain things, it will make you pass out if you have been drinking much, but it is a powerful strain.

I am having a severe flare of neck spasms. Even my doctor said it wold take hours of therapy to reverse. While waiting for that, WW is truly a blessing. I have near complete pain relief-Vicodin, Diazepam, ibuprofen, and Baclofen didn’t help at all, except cause other side effects that are quite unpleasant as well….and ick, artificial chemicals!!
Highly recommend for pain relief and subsequent insomnia relief.

I thought this was a great strain! Really smooth to smoke and not harsh at all! From the first taste, you know it’s some quality bud. Made me feel great all night and it gave me a lot of engergy that made for a quality night.
