While there are several strains known as “Strawberry,” this is the most common and is often the one other names may be referring to. Especially in the United States. This is an indoor strain of mostly Sativa background. Developed in Holland, it came to the U.S. via California and is often seen in dispensaries in Northern Cali under various Strawberry names. It has a definite berry taste and smell to it.
The Strawberry Cough grows to about three feet in height, produces an average harvest from tight, narrow buds. The smoke is soft and sweet to the taste, making this a popular pipe weed. The buzz is active, mood-lifting, and not too thick with a slight linger. This strain is most often prescribed for back or joint pain, depression, and occasionally as a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) alternative.

Strain: Strawberry Cough
Type: Sativa-Dominant (75% Sativa)
Notes: Long, dark green nugs with a distinctly sweet berry aroma. Smoke tickles the throat and is relatively harsh but delicious tasting. High is very mellow, very clear headed, and lightly euphoric. Perfect for anxiety and depression, both melt away. Very focused and creative, possibly good for making music. Listening to music is involving and enjoyable. Very upbeat and positive feeling, great for daytime or before bed. Really enjoyable. 9/10

That’s about it I was gifted some of this so fun to smoke and the smoke is so smooth and it tastes great. Its a fun high I would recommend it

some good. can really taste the strawberry part of it. nice and fruity really enjoyed how smooth it went down, but well…it’s named Strawberry COUGH for a reason. The exhale is rough and grimy but is just what to expect from potent tree.

Gave me more of a head high.. Not one of my favorite strains but I would recnomend it for daytime smoking.. Would be good too use before school or some type of social event because it relives anxiety but doesn’t get you too high..

This is my favorite strain. I have never had any problems with it, and I’m really sensitive to weed. I’m a lightweight, and I’m real picky with what I smoke. I love mixing it with Harlequin to get that perfect mix of effects. It has a very sweet smell to it. When stoned, I smell the bag over and over. The smoke tastes very sweet, the exhale is smooth and thick. Something inside of me wants to smell strawberries, and I do smell strawberries, but I can’t tell what’s placebo and what’s not. I’ve heard plenty of people say that they don’t get couchlock with Strawberry Cough, however, I beg to differ, although the fact that I usually mix it with Harlequin probably has something to do with this. I have conversations with myself on this strain and have the occasional burst of laughter which is always good. The cough for me, happens a bit later with this strain than others. One thing is for sure though, if you hold the hit long, you will cough.

Right after I smoked a grape swisher filled with a fresh batch of strawberry cough, we (two friends and myself) were on an adventure to go longboard. Excitingly, we pulled off to the side of the road to scout for riding spot and we got stuck in the mud from two nights of rain. Luckily, right after I finished the bleezy,a big, black chevy pulled up and willingly helped us get out of this muddy situation. funny thing was that he only had two tow straps and both of them broke trying to pull us out! Hilariously laughing in disbelief of the events that just happened, my friends and I stood aide in sheer glee. So 1 minute or so after the cable snapped, another truck pulls up and had a chain out in no time. Coincidence or not, the guy in the second truck had the same company shirt as the first guy. When my friends and I saw this, we freaked out in excitement and euphoria. Grins were all that the two men saw on our faces haha. The chain worked like a charm and not but a few minutes later we were on our journey onward. Wonderful strand, would definitely recommend for anxiety or anyone looking for an adventure. Does live up to the cough in its name though.

Very nice strain. It really does have a strawberry scent to it and is extremely aromatic! Very nice, even keel body high. Great for kickin’ off your shoes and calling it a day!

Not that strong but man! What a great smoke. Taste is slightly fruity and smooth exhale. Daily strain, good for wake n bakes. Surprisingly didnt cough.

Good reactions to this. Not to strong. Easy to use for daily uses. It does make me cough a bit more than most stuff, but not so much to be a major problem. Nice euphoric/creative atmosphere on this.

i smoked a couple big ol’ bowl packs and oh golly. if you hit it slow the strawberry Cough ain’t so tough. the buds were very compact broke up easy and fluffy.

Smooth, pleasant smoke. Oddly, I don’t cough when I smoke this, and for me, it does not taste like strawberries. But it is pleasant, relieves stress and I am not so stoned that I cannot be productive and focused.
