Named for the Hawaiian island, this plant is a hybrid cross between an island Sativa (likely Haze) and Skunk. It comes in both large and dwarf varieties and is popular as both an indoor and outdoor plant, depending on climate. It grows to about 175cm at top height (half that for the dwarf variety). It is well known for its smooth flavor and citrus aftertaste.
It flowers for about 8-9 weeks with medium-sized buds with a tinge of yellow. It is commonly prescribed as a smoother-smoking alternative to Haze or Durban. Because it has a somewhat higher yield than many plants, it is often the indoor plant of choice for smaller-scale growers.

Now first, let me say, I have been hearing about this strain my ENTIRE drug taking life so maybe I just expected to much or had built something in my head that it just couldn't live up to but my overall impression of this strain was….MEH.

Just Love this strain when grown right.
Maui is simply the ‘All-Around-Great-Bud”. Smells great, Smokes sweet, gooey, grows like crazy, takes a good swipe at anything hat is ailing you.
Need to eat, laugh, escape, feel good, have a treat at the top of the mountain or relax with friends after… here you go. Enjoy!

Has an indescribable smell. Fruity almost like a grapefruit. Burns hashy and slow, tastes hashy as well. Pretty strong head high – not as uplifting as some have mentioned, more of a stoney head high. After about 10 minutes i started feeling pretty baked as well – the sort of feeling i only get with the 50/50 hybrids or pure indicas. music was pretty awesome, as were movies. one of the better sativas i’ve had in a while, really dig the baked effect.

First 10 i’ve given out on this site. This particular batch has made me now appreciate why this stuff is considered legendary. I’ve heard people talk about this stuff like it’s gold. Once i finished the joint, i was warm and fuzzy all over, with a crystal clear head high. Made me happy to be alive, removed every ounce of stress that was lingering, and aroused all the senses. You’re a nice even combo of baked and high. once it’s done, it tapers off slowly leaving you relaxed and ready to roll.

Very intense body experience. Clear, almost sober head high that makes you enjoy life and laugh heartily. Beautiful green and citrus bud. Smokes well and burns slow. Definitely one of my favorites.

I love this bud! As soon as I taste this heavenly taste I know what it is, even if I don’t know beforehand. To say that it is uplifting is an understatement. It’s amazing to think that a bud can have these effects, when most peeps are used to a slow chilled out smoke. Least around here that is, was a huge hit once it popped up in town^^

If you get the real stuff, this is a cougher. Notably thick smoke because the buds are so condensed. Almost no shake. Great economy bud because it gets you high quicker. Look for bright green with dark spots and bright red trichomes.

Have nothing but good to say about this awesome strain when it’s grown right (had organic)! Has a heavenly unique sweet taste, and is a great day time strain to use when needed. The high is uplifting, cosmic, yet still able to focus on a whim. Highly recommended and rated. A real winner, very very enjoyable to boot.

Maui Waui is one of the finest plants I ever had the pleasure to vaporize! The first thing you notice is the fragrance. It’s strong, but intoxicating. The second is the feel, the buds are light green/brown in color and incredibly sticky. Third, and most important is the high. To put it rather simply “This s**t will get you really high!”. And it’s quite the wonderful high (more happy/less paranoid).

Not too strong, but it gets the job done. It’s very crystallized and feels sticky, even though it doesn’t live up to what it looks like. The stuff also has an interesting flavor that actually, no-joke reminds me of Hawaii. Otherwise, Maui Waui is a generic sativa.

By far the best greens I have ever roasted. The high lasted for about 2 hours and had a really happy uplifting feeling. It was really smooth; tasted amazing. Word to my bro Mah-wee this fool gave us a free 10 of this stuff in trade for a lighter when we were just roamin around Ka’anapali lookin for some Maui Waui. This bud is definitely worth your money.
