So I picked up some Harlequin and Cannatonic from SCMN in Aptos, CA. to do a little research on the High CBD strains. The Harlequin tested at 9% THC and 8% CBD, The Cannatonic tested at 6%THC and 15%+CBD.

I definitely like Harlequin a whole lot more. I smoked some before bed, and I was able to get that really nice numbing effect in the body. I was watching some Netflix and I was able to focus on the shows that I was watching. I didn’t feel too high.

This is a great strain to just relax and chill out at home. Very good if you’re trying to function.

Very different experience smoking Harlequin. I love the feeling and I love the pain relief.

*I recommend to try and get this strain at a 1:1 ratio (THC: CBD), like I did (or as close to it).

This time around i had a fat bowl of Harlequin and it definitely hit harder. Lots of body tingling/reduced spasm/reduced tremor. Head felt tingly/uplifted/happy. Initially reduced focus but leaves you with more focus than you had. Unfortunately it started with pain reduction but ended with some more pain awareness that wasn’t there to begin with. No drag left here, just a nice peacefulness to your brain.

Although the THC was low in this strain the high CBD and CBN content worked awesome for my nerve disorder. Made my spasms in legs fade fast. I was relaxed and tingly as my recliner seemed to engulf me. I got up and was active with minimal pain task after task. Lasted for about 2 hours on a bowl of medicine. Thanks again Dave at topgrademedical.com

This strain is great… it’s almost like smoking anti-dope. The buds themselves are tight and compact, with a piney smell. It’s incredibly smooth to smoke. Where I might cough after big hits of something else, this stays down and does not irritate your lungs. Letting out that first hit, you can feel it creep across your jaw and head with almost a heat flash. This passes, and the focus sets in. It always clears my head. If have been smoking quite a bit of a high THC strain, this will pull me out and give me a great balanced high. Tons of focus and energy, and the painkilling qualities are pretty amazing. Great for a wake and bake and all day functional buzz.

So glad I found this strain. It’s strange stuff… I think others have called it anti-weed. Smoke it by itself and you’ll wonder where the high is. An hour later you notice you’re drooling.

Harlequin is very effective at alleviating my chronic pain. Blends well with other strains if you’re looking for a high along with the added Harlequin pain relief. Great stuff!

I seem to remember it high in CBD’s, can’t remember it enough though for a precise rating.

As a new user with considerable pain, I wanted to use this strain more than any other. I was very pleased with the pain relief and minimal “high”. The taste is nice. It was a little harsh on my throat.

I’d forgotten how much i like this one for pain, my dispensary has been out of it for a while and i tried a few others that didn’t work on the pain or made me high. I need to be able to work and drive and was finding that hard with the number of pain pills I’ve been having to take lately. This lets me cut down on the prescription stuff, which i’m sure is much better for my body.

O my, Harlequin may be my fav strain to date. Burning migraine pain; mostly facial involvment. Not too dizzy. Pain scale 6-7; nausea 4-5 when I medicated @ 1530 or so. Hits ya hard & doesn’t take too long to start working (bout 5 min). Pain/nausea gone. Dizzy bout a 5-6 bu totally ok. Heavy head buzz but not a couch planter. NO ANXIETY PARANOIA. Body high dang near pefect. Relaxed to where I don’t wanna do a whole lot but totally awake. Could probably be an awesome worker bud if I had something I needed to do. Will have to try this one again to gauge how this’ gonna affect me over a longer period of time.
