Usually grown indoors, this plant gets its name from its number one attribute: it grows, matures, and flowers early. The Early plant will mature and bud about 25% faster than most other strains. Despite this, it has a smooth and sweet flavor and a pleasant buzz, though it doesn’t last long.
The Early grows to about 70cm and yields 200 grams or so per plant. This plant is popular amongst home growers and others who can’t afford continued trips to the dispensary, with seeds selling for $2-$3 each or roughly half the price of most strains. This is rarely prescribed unless the medical practitioner suggests the patient grow his or her own to save costs.
