Dutch Treat is a dark green strain, with lots of branches and very large tops. The buds are solid and very sticky. It has a sweet citrus smell and tastes strongly of eucalyptus along with grassy-tasting citrus. The smoke tends to be fairly thick and tickles the throat, causing a decent amount of coughing, but without any kind of burning or real harshness.
Characterized by a swirling head high that comes on quickly, it gives users a feeling of abundant energy and a need to keep busy without jittery or anxious feelings. Towards the end, the Indica traits will show as the experience becomes a bit cloudy-feeling and tired.

Normally, a hybrid heavy on the indica would give me anxiety but this strain is really great for me. It had a lot of nice, euphoric sativa tones that made me feel up without feeling overwhelmed in social situations. Great mind and body high.

Very tasty stuff, the uniquely Weedy, earthy, piney flavor is far and away the defining feature of this strain. Dark red hairy nugs that are generally shorter, squatter nuggets, smelling strongly but not unpleasantly. The smoke is smooth, thick, and milky. Not the most heavily coated in trichromes, but it’s definitely not a slacker. Not terribly long lasting, but the comedown is very mild, as the high is not very cerebral.
The buzz is relaxing, comes on slow, and leaves me feeling clear-headed and pain free. Relieves my back and knee pain reliably every time. Great for smoking in the mornings, a nice active, functional, before-work weed. A light, floaty, generally body-based high, it’s no surprise that the buzz is relatively short-lived, but the pain relief may persist for some hours after the noticeable physical effects are felt.

There are two types of dutch treat running around the indica and the sativa dominant. You must find the sativa dominant dutch treat #5 it will blow your world apart. Was the most uplifting, Pain re-leaving, wonderful experience ever and I have been at it for a good while folks. If all the rating on here were from the #5 there is no doubt it would be all 10′s. Nothing can compare except this one strain called The Hog can’t find it around much but its the only thing of the same caliber.

This is the first time I have tried this strain of cannabis. Dutch Treat is one of the best strains I have tried. It is dark green with gold trichromes all over the bud. Also, it is sticky and has a sweet pine smell with a hint of citrus. All around a great strain since it is a hybrid, that way you get the best of both highs.

This heavy cerebral high is perfect for a night time adventure or a long hibernation in a comfortable bed. With earthy, piney, and lemony tones, the exhales comes off very sweet, not a bit of smokeyness, and left my mouth watering and wanting more. Paired with LA Confidential, I was out like a light in under an hour and the body and mind high, though quite strong, made my body feel pleasantly lazy and put me in the perfect mood for a session of music and headphones. This is the best tasting strain I’ve ever had, it did quite literally make my mouth water. Highly recommend this to new and old stoners alike.

One of the very best “calm you down, take a load off” strains. As long as I have been keeping track, this strain has been a favorite. Faced with 20-30 strains, almost always a choose this because it reliably calms, soothes and improves mood. Stress reduced, mind relaxer.

There is a cut of Dutch Treat available in WA that tests consistently high (15-24% THC) with around 1% CBD.

Nice strain, effect lastest about an hour. Made me very relaxed, but not super-stoned. Nice combo mind and body high. Very good balance to it. Came on slow.
