I really love this strain. too bad more people aren’t reviewing it!
I suffer from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, insomnia, addictions issues, etc and this works very well for all of it

Second time trying this strain, has that classic OG smell thats nice an earthy, dense average sized nugs. High didn’t last too long. Peak is hard and short lived and come down makes me very sleepy. Overall a solid strain but not my favorite OG

Awesome OG. Great yields, great taste, great effects. Nice earthy musky sour skunky funk. Great medicinal properties. Leaves my body feeling relaxed and relieved but still leaves me feeling motivated, happy, and creative. This strain is the most popular between all of my patients.

Hands down, my favorite strain and I’ve tried a lot. It’s a preference but it’s also because it’s so damn good. I enjoy the overall experience — taste, smoke, smell, buzz, medicinal effects — when smoking “Deadhead” OG Kush.” I use primarily to get a good night’s sleep. There’s no other strain that works better for getting really good sound sleep. It’s also great for just unwinding after a long day. It really does an incredible job at relaxing the body and mind.
As the story goes, Virginia Skunk (his name) cut the only verified cut which Chemdawg (the breeder) himself gave out to him. Chemdawg (the breeder) is considered “The legend of legends”, since it is said that Chemdawg (the breeder) got seeds at a Grateful Dead concert, hence the name “Dead Head OG.” Chemdawg (the breeder) is the creator of so many legendary strains such as: OG Kush, and Sour Diesel. This particular strain was crossed with San Fernando Valley (SFV) OG Kush.

I acquired some of this strain from onyx and it was incredible. Very potent and smelly. Has a traditional og kush scent with a hint of pine. The leaves are hints of dark medium and light green tones. Very sparkly white trichomes that glisten and shimmer in the light. Does not take effect immediately but not a long wait at all.Great for my anxiety as well as my hand and back pain. Would be a great strain for right before bed or midafternoon. The high last about 40 mins or so but I do have a very high tolerance. It lasted longer than most other strains I get so I can only imagine how wonderful this strain would be for someone whose tolerance isn’t quite as high. i accidently posted this same review on 100$ OG but was meant for deadhead not copying others reviews.

Euphoric feeling and unusual energy. Then a tail end of calmness and tranquility. Gets u where u want fast and puts u out by shutting down ur large and small motor skills!! If us smoke to much she’ll couch lock ya. Stinky Sticky Dank!!!

Honestly, one of the better strains I’ve come across in a while. It’s kind of like taking an escalator. Very gradual on your way up and down but at the peak, it’s highly euphoric. I enjoy the way it smokes as well. The high is a lasting one and when it’s over with, you’re just sort of zoned out and sleepy. Helps with insomnia for sure and the euphoric feeling it peaks with helps a lot with anxiety and stress. Excellent strain!

Good flavor and throat feel (vaping with volcano), classic OG taste, earthy, dank. Activates my third eye, head buzzing, I tend to focus on one thing for much longer than normal, good for getting into a project and staying focused on the task at hand. Nice strain overall.
