Combining to of the most popular, high-potency strains together and you get Crystal. A hybrid of White Widow and Northern Lights, this new breed won the 2002 Highlife Cup. It is not common, but it is often asked for. The plant is of about average height and is bred to be an outdoor breed rather than indoor, which explains the large disparity in its yields between indoor and out.
As the name suggests, the buds are literally blanketed in crystalline deposits of THC. The plant is bushy, grows to about 200cm outdoors, flowers for about 9 weeks and has large, sticky buds that give off a uniquely candied aroma. The smoke is smooth and the buzz is cerebral with a slight delay to effect. When available, this is the strain of choice for long-term users who have conditions such as epilepsy and similar disorders. Most prescriptions will be halved if this is the chosen strain.
