The famous Cheese strain, originally bred in the UK, is famous for its powerful Cheddar-cheese / woody aroma and its strong body stone. As a mostly Indica variety, Cheese is very effective with pain relief and anxiety control, with a pleasant, euphoric buzz. The taste and smoke are strong but not too pungent with spicy, skunk-like undertones. A highly sought-after variety.

This is to London as NYC Diesel is to NYC.. almost the default pot you can get from the local dealer. I’ve heard people totally rave about this stuff, and I’m not entirely sure why. I will say this: feeling happy and euphoric while at the same time being lazy and talkative is pretty rare for a pure Indica. I smoked a few of these in joint form outside at a coffeeshop in Amsterdam while drinking beers and talking to other shop-goers and had a great time. Not the pot to smoke if you’re looking to get completely baked and stay in, but not a bad Indica if you want to be social. Prepare for a biblical case of the munchies on the come down..

Got this stuff from the bass player in my band. we smoked it at practice and at my house playing SSBB. Great strain for both Video Games and Jamming. I also tried it with P-Lantis in Amsterdam in a Joint with some “Secret Incan Hash” sprinkled in! I was space baked!

Always known uk cheese as a sativa dominant as was skunk (where it came from) Real cheese when grown properly should be skinny and elongated and smell just like fresh grated parmesan and romano cheese. should have a thick coating of trichomes. If you ever worked around cheese which i have several years you’ll know this when you smell it..

Decent. While it lasts it’s pretty good. I still prefer Blue Cheese.

I think this may be an acquired taste. The flowers have a dark green/amber appearance with few visible tan hairs. They are dense with full, well formed, calyx’s covered in trichomes. When it comes to smell, it has an earthy aroma mixed with a slight hint of pine not unlike your typical Indica. The bud, does have a fairly impressive appearance.

However the smoke is harsh, with a sour finish on exhale and good expansion. It is a potent smoke that you can feel immediately behind the eyes. But it’s a foggy, fuzzed out, mind and body stone that I personally didn’t care for. It does have a mean munchy factor, so this may be a good choice for someone looking to stimulate the appetite.

With so many delicious Indica strains to choose from out there, it would be very hard for me to ever include this strain into the rotation.

The original UK cheese that surfaced in the 90s was a skunk # 1 from sensi seeds that was grown and cloned over several years during in which the potency and flavor seemed to intensify which is not uncommon in nearly pure sativa’s. I have observed this in original chocolate thai where the potency and vigor increased over a number of years reaching a peak at year 3 or 4. Skunk#1 is Columbian Gold x Acapulco Gold/Afgani. The high can be very sedative like an indica if harvested in the late amber headed trichome stage. However the more soaring cerebral effects go wasted in the late stage and are better appreciated in the clear/milky stage with no amber tichs. As well as a more soaring high the taste is much more fresh. An extremely uplifting giggly happy smoke with a nice mellow body. The great thing about this particular skunk is that you don’t build a tolerance quickly and there is no ceiling on the high even if you did. Not your bland indoor grown indica here. There is a certain old school flavor to the cheese that is somewhat hashy, earth with newer fruit flavors and an undeniable stench of tangy blue and parmesan cheeses. Great for several medical conditions, mine being for emetic needs, it meets the needs of a wide variety of palates:)

Oh my God I can’t believe this stuff. For strength and duration I’m going by a puff or two of this stuff ground up in a glass pipe. The flavor is wonderful, and I’m instantly just ON. My brain awakens, and I shed all my perceived problems and clouded judgement, everything seems clear. I have my goals set and I just want to carry them out. My once seemingly-difficult task of assembling a reel became all to clear and easy, and my creative work felt more like ‘play’. I still can’t believe an indica could lift me up like this without being kush! Highly recommended!!

I prefer strains that are euphoric and giggly but don’t leave you feeling tired and sleepy. I had just tried some skywalker which was decent but not all that potent. My favorite strains are Apollo 11 and Apollo 13 because they best meet my criteria for why I enjoy a good smoke on occasion. I give the Apollos a perfect 10 and give Cheese a 7.5 to 8.0 which actually is a great score since I a bit of a snob. The high hits you pretty much within minutes of inhaling. It doesn’t take much to make u feel a little spacey. The downside is that u are a little foggy and a little sleepy. A redbull would probably counteract the sleepiness very effectively but the tired sleepy feeling in and of itself is not overwhelming like with some of the stronger indica’s. Overall good stuff.

This strain has a great unique taste of almost a pungent cheese. It may not sound appetizing to everyone but I was very surprised and happy with the results. Very pleasant and relaxing effects.

Cheese is my top favorite smelling strain so far. It has such a complex fragrance, and sometimes it reminds me of an outside smorgasbord stocked with cheese and fruit. I have a difficult time finding this strain, especially good quality bud. The high is nice and mellow, and I tend to feel more uplifted and energetic (which I often feel with some Indicas). Its a treat every time I find some. :D

This strain, as I’m sure most people know, is off the hook. Major head high, lasted for hours. Felt like I’d had one too many glasses of wine Probably the highest I’ve ever been. Worth every penny you’d have to pay.

when i first heard that i was buying a strain of weed called cheese, i questioned myself on buying it. but the guy told me it was amazing so why not! at first, when i opened the bag, it smelled like really old cheese that wasnt too pleasant. it didnt have that usual weed smell. it literally smelled like cheese. i smoked out of a fat joint and it tasted exactly like stinky cheese. wasnt the best smoke, but it was one of the best highs ive ever had. it lasted for a very very long time. the cheese smokes awful but the aftermath is well worth the cheesy smoke.
