Growing originally in the mountains of Afghanistan, this hardy plant was imported to Holland where the Dutch cultivated it to produce thick, fat buds and leaves.  Somewhat hash-like, the heavy smoke is rich and thick.  This plant is a favorite for indoor and outdoor growth because of its hardiness, disease resistance, and extreme height which make it a great space saver outdoors (growing up to 300cm).

Flowering for up to ten weeks, this plant produces a lingering high that lasts much longer than average.  Some do not tolerate the smoke well and the buds do not bake into brownies well, but for the hooka or bong smoker, this is a weed of choice.  Usually prescribed for long-term, chronic, and painful conditions such as chemotherapy (nausea), pain, or after surgery.

Afghani will provide the user with a very strong, almost narcotic, physical high. Useful for treating insomnia and chronic pain.

   This is the first MJ I ever grown from seeds. It is a landrace from Afghanistan. Very dieases resisitence compare to other MJ got their leafs eaten by grasshoppers. But this is catepillar favorite weed in my case. Sensitive to bubs rot if flowering in moist late seasons (morning dew and raining in SoCal). This mature in about 60~90 days. Sweet Cedar/Pine like odor. Thick woody smoke/smooth taste. Compact buds with large sepal but the actual bud r small compare to SFV OG Kush.

   Strong body high. Always want to go to sleep after 90 minuate or so. Slight head high and tingling on my face. This is the usual stone strongness I like. Very good for pain relief for my back inury.

   I love the smell.. Very deep hashish. For those that aren’t familiar with hashish, then I would compare it to some kind of dark coffeish smell. The buds are themselves very dark, and could be mistaken for schwag if not for the exotic smell. The buzz is very relaxing, and puts you in a good mood. Not exactly the best for going shopping at the mall, but excellent for playing video games. And you can still enjoy conversations with people on it, just as long as your butts glued to the couch : )

   Great keifing medium, very sticky and coated in resin glands great mid late day pain/sleep aid however more of a hashy taste and not as flavorful as my taste buds prefer bit makes up in potency what it lacks in taste. Also can be great tasting and good morning smoke if mixed with a potent citrus type flavor lemon diesel or a nice sweet sativa dom hybrid not to offset effectiveness for medical purposes.

    Everyone grows this around here so I smoked good Afghani and shitty Afghani. I think It’s no need to write long description about this. Smoke too much and you’ll wake up the next day without any idea of how you fell asleep or take a one huge hit and you’ll feel like a Terminator. And if I can help you, NEVER smoke this from Hookah, it will destroy you like a lil’ bitch. It’s classic for me and I recommend this to everyone. This strain is a real Killa.

    Taste – I don’t like this kind of taste but still it’s weed so np with that.
    Smell – Always blow my nose.
    Effects – Best painkiller I’ve ever smoked.

    This was hands down the best strain I have tried. The high was amazing and left me damn near nonfunctional for a good 3 1/2 hours. I was euphoric and quite social. The most memorable part of this high was the warm fuzzy halo feeling around my head and all the way down my spine.

    Perfect bud for body high, absolutely gorgeous tingly sensation. It will kill any pain you have and make you feel like you’re sinking into the couch. Smells great, tastes kinda nasty honestly but it’s bearable. Nostalgic to me, it’s one of my first choices for body high but I like that you’re brain can still feel wrecked if you smoke enough.

    Afghani hit me quick and hit me hard. POW!! The head rushes were incredible. The hang time is decent. This bud lifted me up and put me on a VERY high spiritual plane. It relieved my aches and overall funk. It also put me in the moment, which is a beautiful place I HIGHLY recommend. My dogs also love Afghani because of all the luuuuv dad pours out on them when his meds work this good. May God’s hand continue to bless the hands (and houses) of those that deliver this Heavenly bud. A five-finger salute to this master :-)

    I suffer from terrible insomnia and Afghani is by far the best I’ve tried for this. Normal “couchlock” indicas seem to have very little sedative effect on me, but this Afghani stuff has managed to actually WORK :). All most of the other ones did was get me high and make me even more awake. Not Afghani. Took about a tenth of a gram 20 minutes ago and I’m feeling like I will be able to sleep tonight. No big, destracting “high”, either. Very clear-headed and lucid. You feel that it is there, and it is intense in it’s own way, but again, incredibly lucid and not scatterbrained at all. Perfect for studying. Highly focused.
    The body effects, however, are QUITE strong :). I feel physically somewhat drunk, but in a pleasant way – no pukiness, impaired judgement or any malaise whatsoever like you’d get with alchohol, but extremely lazy, a bit sleepy, coordination is a little off, eyes are droopy as hell. Very mild tingling sensations – woah, a body buzz…cool :). I’m someone that can smoke just about any other indica dominant strain and get almost no body buzz at all, yet am quite sensitive to the mind-altering effects. Afghani is a perfect match for me. I’m ready to get some sleep and there’s no craziness going on in my head. No trippiness. No anxiety whatsoever. This will be my insomnia medication for sure!
