News » Wisconsin Voters Say Yes To Medical Marijuana
November 3, 2010 by justin
Dane County, Wisconsin voters have strongly voted in favor of medical marijuana. The results of the election are non-binding, so they will not carry any legislative weight, but will be used in future law making decision processes.
This is good news for medical marijuana and legalization supporters after the defeat of Proposition 19 in California and Measure 74 in Oregon. By making their opinion known, and in such a dramatic fashion, we can only hope that the state government of Wisconsin will take notice.
